(ORAL) The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus for directing the official respondents to take action against respondents No.6 to 9 for restraining the petitioner to perform her duties as a Elected Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Kaler Bala Pai, Block Tarsikka, District Amritsar and not to create hurdles in the welfare and development work of the village.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition with liberty to the petitioners to avail their alternate remedies, available to them, as per law. 3.

In view of the above, the present writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid.
