In view of reply filed on behalf of the Union of India in connected case i.e. CRWP-8142-2021, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that given the stand taken by the Union of India, he wants to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file a fresh petition with better particulars. He has further submitted that since the present petition has been withdrawn and as such, the interim orders have been recalled. However, in the larger interest of the justice and in view of ensuing holidays, the petitioner be permitted to surrender till 16.8.2022 at 4-00 P.M.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of, having been withdrawn and the interim order dated 1.12.2021 is recalled. It is clarified that withdrawal of the present petition shall not come in the way of the petitioner in case he chooses to file a fresh petition. The petitioner is directed to surrender till 16.8.2022 at 4-00 P.M.
