(Oral) Prayer in this petition is for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.512 dated 4.9.2019 under Sections 406, 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Quilla, Panipat.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and has deposited the amount of Rs.50,000/- with the Illaqua Magistrate.

Learned State counsel, on instructions from SI Attar Singh and assisted by counsel for the complainant has, however, opposed the prayer on the ground that a number of complaints under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act are pending against the petitioner. Considering the fact that the petitioner has joined the investigation, the petition is allowed and order dated 18.9.2019, passed by this Court, is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.

The amount of Rs.50,000/- be released in favour of the complainant, subject to final outcome of the trial/complaint pending under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act.
