Through the instant petition under Section 438 Cr.P.C., the petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in case FIR No. 228 dated 04.11.2021, registered under Sections 148, 323, 341, 427, 452 and 506 IPC read with Section 149 IPC, (Section 307 IPC added later on), at Police Station Sadar Dhuri, District Sangrur.

Vide order dated 02.12.2021 passed by a Coordinate Bench, ad interim anticipatory bail was granted to the petitioner. $      #        02.12.2021        Learned State counsel, on instructions from ASI Tarsem Singh, submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and he is not required for any further investigation.

 I have heard the learned counsel for the parties. In view of the above, without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is allowed and the order dated 02.12.2021 granting ad interim anticipatory bail to the petitioner is made absolute, subject to the conditions laid down in Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
