(Oral) Applicant - Manpreet Kaur, aged about 40 years, estranged wife of Devinder Singh, presently residing separately from her husband, on account of differences between the parties, by way of filing the present application, seeks transfer of divorce petition, filed by her husband - respondent, against her, having title 'Devinder Singh vs. Manpreet Kaur', pending before Additional Principal Judge, Family Court, Patiala, to a Court of competent jurisdiction at Karnal. According to the applicant, the marriage solemnized between the parties on 28.12.2000, at village Samana Bahu, Tehsil Neelokheri, District Karnal, ran into rough weather, on account of demand of dowry raised from her by the respondent and his family members. T.A. No. 815 of 2019 -2respondent. The couple was blessed with two sons, namely Simrat Pal Singh born on 24.9.2002 and Noorpinder Singh born on 26.3.2011. According to the applicant, the respondent came in contact with a woman namely, Parminder Kaur @ Nisha and started neglecting the applicant, as such the applicant was turned out of the matrimonial home. She is residing with her parents are Karnal and has initiated litigation against the respondent in courts there. I have heard learned counsel for the applicant, besides going through the record.

Admittedly both the sons of the parties are residing with their father i.e. Devinder Singh - respondent. In the divorce petition filed by Devinder Singh against Manpreet Kaur, there are specific allegations against her moral character, contending that she is having relations with Jasbir Singh son of Kewal Singh, resident of Patiala. Under the circumstances, I do not find it proper and appropriate to accept the application. Accordingly, the same stands dismissed.
