RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 21.01.2020, learned counsel for the petitioners has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarters.

Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing FIR No.41 dated 25.04.2018 registered under Sections 498, 494, 496, 497, 417, 468, 471, 177, 200 IPC at Police Station Mehtiana, District Hoshiarpur, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise dated 01.07.2019 (Annexure P-2) arrived at between the parties.

Pursuant to order dated 18.09.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hoshiarpur, on 11.10.2019 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.20 15:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

-2CRM-M-39785 of 2019 Class, Hoshiarpur, has submitted her report vide letter bearing No.720 dated 04.11.2019, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Hoshiarpur, vide Endst. No.27980 dated 04.11.2019. According to the above report, compromise arrived at between the parties is without any coercion and pressure but out of free will. Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.41 dated 25.04.2018 registered under Sections 498, 494, 496, 497, 417, 468, 471, 177, 200 IPC at Police Station Mehtiana, District Hoshiarpur, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed. Disposed of accordingly.
