***** ARCHANA PURI, J. (Oral) Report has been received from the Mediation and Conciliation Centre. As per the same, the matter has been amicably settled between the parties. The settlement/agreement has also been annexed with the said report, which is duly signed by both the parties as well as their counsel and the mediator concerned.

As per the settlement/agreement, the Insurance Company had agreed to pay a sum of Rs.5,50,000/-, over and above the amount already awarded by learned Tribunal. Also, as per clause 5 of the settlement/agreement, the Insurance Company had agreed to hand over the demand draft/cheque to the counsel for the appellants, on or before 90 days from the day of disposal of the appeal.

FAO-2554-2018 In view of the settlement, so reached, the Insurance company is hereby directed to pay the requisite amount settled to the counsel for the appellants, by virtue of demand draft/cheque, in the name of appellant No.1Kulwinder Kaur, within a period of 90 days from today onwards. In view of the aforesaid settlement, the appeal, as such, is hereby disposed of and the requisite settled amount, be paid in consonance with the terms settled.

In the eventuality of any default, on the part of the Insurance Company, the penal interest @ 8 % per annum, shall be payable, till realization.
