CM-1709-1710-1711-2016 in/and LPA-841-2016 (O&M) -2regularly selected candidate further subject to her satisfactory work and conduct. The short grievance in the instant intra-Court appeal is that as per the Government Policy dated 24.07.2013, Guest-Faculty teachers are engaged for seven months and they cannot be paid salary for the entire year, i.e. extra remuneration for five months.

[2] Learned counsel for the respondent rightly relies upon the Government Circular, dated 30.12.2016 whereby the Government of Punjab has taken a fresh conscious decision with the approval of the Finance Department to pay remuneration to the Guest-Faculty for twelve months, i.e. for the entire year.

[3] In this view of the matter, nothing survives in this appeal, which is, accordingly, disposed of.
