***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) Today, at the very outset, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner shall apply afresh to the authorities concerned for grant of parole particularly since the year 2023 has commenced recently and that he may be permitted to withdraw the present petition. In view of the aforestated position, the instant petition is hereby dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to move afresh for grant of parole to the authorities concerned.

In case, any such application is moved, the authorities concerned shall consider the same expeditiously and dispose of the same at the earliest preferably within a period of 2 months from today while duly taking into account the previous record of the petitioner as to whether on any PANKAJ KAKKAR 2023.01.11 14:39 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
