The instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.183 dated 21.08.2019 registered under Sections 406, 498-A IPC at Police Station Sadar Khanna, Ludhiana.

By an order dated 18.09.2019, while issuing notice of motion, this Court had granted interim bail to the petitioner and directed him to join investigation.

Learned counsel for the petitioner herein would contend that pursuant to the order dated 18.09.2019, petitioner has joined investigation, and no recoveries are to be made from him.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent-State on instructions from HC Manvir Singh submits that petitioner has joined investigation.
