The petitioners have filed the present petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India with a prayer to direct the official respondents to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents.

Learned State counsel submits that in the present case, an inquiry has been conducted and after detailed inquiry it has been found that there is no threat to the life and liberty of the petitioners from any corner. 3.

Even the petitioners appeared during the inquiry and stated that they have not apprehend any threat to their lives and did not require any protection.

In view of the statement made by the learned State counsel, no further directions are required and the present petition is accordingly disposed off.
