The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023 seeking direction to official respondents to conduct investigation in a fair and impartial manner in case FIR No.196 dated 26.11.2022 under Sections 451, 506 IPC, 1860 registered at Police Station City-2, Khanna, Police District Khann.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the investigation in the present FIR is complete, however, final report is yet to be filed.
