Present petition has been filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of bail pending trial to the petitioner in FIR No.99 dated 09.07.2022, under Sections 21 & 22 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station Chattiwind, Amritsar Rural, District Amritsar. 2.

After arguing for some time, when this Court was not inclined to accept the prayer, learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, wishes to withdraw the present petition, at this stage. 3.

Ordered accordingly.

However, keeping in view the custody of petitioner as well as the fact that non-bailable warrants were issued to the prosecution witnesses on various occasions, learned Special Court is requested to proceed in the matter expeditiously, if there is no legal impediment.
