**** ANUPINDER SINGH GREWAL, J. (ORAL) The petitioner is seeking anticipatory bail in FIR No. 71 dated 16.05.2017, under Section 21 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station PAU, District Ludhiana. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the petitioner had earlier been granted bail by the trial Court, however, he could not appear before the trial Court on one date, as he was late due to a minor accident. The allegations against the petitioner are that he was allegedly found in possession of 5 grams of heroin. He also contends that the petitioner is not involved in any other case. He undertakes that the petitioner shall henceforth appear before the Court on each and every date of hearing and would not absent himself except with the prior permission of the Court. This Court, by the order dated 20.09.2019, had directed that in case the petitioner appears before the trial Court then he was to be released SATYAWAN 2019.11.20 18:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
