Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to enhance the age of retirement of petitioner from 58 to 60 years in terms of the Instructions dated 19.02.2021 (P-3) and The Right of Persons with Disability Act, 2016 (P-6).

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that in view of the order dated 02.03.2022, passed by Special Chief Secretary, Govt. of Punjab, Deptt. of Labour, present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
