The substantial prayer made in the instant petition reads as follows:

'It is, therefore, most respectfully prayed that the instant petition may kindly be allowed and the FIR No.41 dated 9.3.2024, under Sections 420, 498A, 406, 34 IPC at Police Station City South, Moga (Annexure P-1) may kindly be quashed on the basis of a compromise deed dated 28.5.2024 (Annexure P-2).

It is further, respectfully prayed that proceedings in FIR No.41 dated 9.3.2024, under Sections 498A, 406, 34 IPC at Police Station City South, Moga (Annexure P-1) may kindly be stayed, in the interest of justice.' 2.

Mr. A.S. Barnala, Advocate, has entered appearance on behalf of respondents no.2 and 3 and has filed his vakalatnama. The same be kept on record. Learned counsel submits that the said respondents are not agreeable to the quashing of FIR on the basis of compromise deed dated 28.5.2024.
