Mr. Sanjeev Kumar Malik, Advocate for the petitioner. Ms. Tanushree Gupta, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Haryana. TRIBHUVAN DAHIYA, J. (ORAL) The petition has been filed, inter alia, seeking directions to the respondents to correct the petitioner's position in the seniority list of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) by taking her date of promotion as 17.07.2018, and grant consequential promotion to the post of PGT English from the date her juniors have been promoted.

Learned State counsel has referred to instructions received from the second respondent/Director General Elementary Education, vide memo dated 21.08.2025, which is retained on the case file as Annexure-A. It is to the following effect:
That it is humbly submitted here that the petitioner is already promoted on the post of TGT English wef 17.07.2018 vide order no. 17/215-2019 HRM-1(2) dated 11.12.2019 (Annexure R-1). In pursuance of which, the matter regarding the fixation of seniority of the petitioner is already submitted before the higher authorities for the decision. The case of the petitioner w.r.t the seniority will be dealt accordingly.

CWP-21104-2025 -2She, accordingly, contends since the petitioner has already been promoted to the post of TGT English with effect from the date her juniors have been promoted, i.e. 17.07.2018, her seniority will accordingly be given and her case for consequential promotion from the date her juniors have been promoted as PGT will also be considered.

In view of the statement, the petition is disposed of directing the second and third respondent to assign correct position to the petitioner in the seniority list of TGT English and consider her for further promotion from the date her juniors have been promoted, within a period of three months of receiving a certified copy of this order.
