RAMENDRA JAIN, J. (ORAL) In compliance of order dated 10.02.2020, learned counsel for the petitioners has produced receipts of `20,000/-. The same are taken on record. Registry is directed to verify the deposit of costs by the petitioners with the concerned quarter.
Through this petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. prayer has been made for quashing FIR No.174 dated 14.06.2017 registered under Sections 148, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC at Police Station Bahin, District Palwal, and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise (Annexure P-3) arrived at between the parties. Pursuant to order dated 20.09.2019 of this Court, the parties appeared before learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hathin, on 15.01.2020 to get their statements recorded. Learned Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Hathin, has submitted his report vide letter bearing No.86 dated RAVINDER SINGH 2020.02.20 15:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
-2CRM-M-40530 of 2019 27.01.2020, duly forwarded by learned District and Sessions Judge, Palwal, vide letter No.679 dated 28.01.2020.
According to the above report, compromise arrived at between the parties is genuine, voluntary and without any coercion or undue influence.
Therefore, in view of above and the fact that the compromise will bring peace and harmony between the parties, FIR No.174 dated 14.06.2017 registered under Sections 148, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC at Police Station Bahin, District Palwal, and all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, are quashed.
Disposed of accordingly.
