Learned counsel would contend that the petitioner was not considered for the vacant post lying in ESM BCB category. In this regard, a legal demand notice dated 27.05.2024, Annexure P-14, has been served upon respondent No.1 however the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to respondent No.1 to decide the same in a time bound manner. 2.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide the legal demand notice dated 27.05.2024, Annexure P-14, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
