The present petition has been filed inter alia praying for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondents No. 1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioners. 2.

Admittedly, the petitioner No. 1 had already filed a representation dated 16.07.2025 vide diary No. 509 and at the outset even, learned State Counsel has pointed out that the representation has been looked into, in which petitioner No. 1 has herself made a statement that she wants to take divorce from respondent No. 4 for which she will approach the Court of competent jurisdiction and does not want to press the said representation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners has clarified that her statement with regard to taking recourse to her legal rights and approach the PARUL 2025.07.24 17:45 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CRWP-7875-2025 Court with regard to the filing of the divorce petition and not with regard to the threat she feels from respondent No. 4.

In light of the above, the present petition stand disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 4 to ensure that peace and harmony is maintained, however, it is made clear that this order shall not be taken as any direction for proceeding against respondent No. 4 without any cogent substance.
