(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of direction to the official respondents to protect life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of private respondents. As per the status report filed by U.T., Chandigarh it has been stated as under :
"8.
That the staff of the deponent in order to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner had sensitised and introduced her to the concerned beats staff at her given residence. The petitioner also provided all the information necessary to connect with control NO.112. In addition to this, the contact of senior lady constable Manpreet Kaur was also provided to her in case of any emergency. In relation to this matter the DSP/PCR has also been provided all the information regarding the case of the petitioner."
In the considered opinion of this Court in view of the aforesaid steps having been taken by the State Agency, no further direction is required DEEPAK KUMAR 2022.12.13 17:06 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-9774-2022 -2to be issued. However, in case the aforesaid steps do not suffice in a given circumstance, the petitioner shall always be at liberty to avail her remedy in accordance with law.
