(ORAL) This petition has been filed by the petitioner alleging in-action on the part of the respondent-authorities in stopping illegal and unauthorized construction within the municipal limits of Ambala City. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondentauthorities have taken cognizance of the complaint dated 10.07.2021 (Annexure P-1) made by him and vide their reply dated 02.09.2021 (Annexure P-4) informed him that the illegal construction being undertaken at Palika Vihar, Ambala City has been ordered to be sealed. However, inspite of the said orders, the illegal construction is continuing.
He further submits that the petitioner has filed representations dated 21.09.2021 (Annexure P-7) and 26.10.2021 (Annexure P-8) which may be considered by the respondentauthorities and appropriate action in accordance with law be taken thereon. Mr. Deepak Balyan, learned Additional Advocate General, Haryana, on advance copy, submits that the respondent-authorities are already seized of the matter and would look into the representations of the petitioner and take action thereon expeditiously in accordance with law including ensuring compliance of the orders passed by the respondent-authorities regarding sealing and stopping of the illegal construction. In view of the aforesaid statement made by learned State counsel, we do not find any reason to entertain the present petition which is accordingly disposed of.
It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and, therefore, the authorities would be at liberty to examine the matter keeping all facts and facets into consideration and thereafter accept or reject the same in accordance with law.
