   , J (Oral)   This writ petition in the nature of Habeas Corpus was filed for release of Rattanbir Singh from the illegal detention of respondents. The State has filed the status report dated 07.10.2022. As per the report, the detenue was arrested in case of FIR No.30 dated 04.10.2022 under Section 25 of the Arms Act, 1959 and 42/52-A of the Prison Act registered at Police Station State Special Operation Cell, Amritsar. In view of the status report filed, no further directions are called for.

The petition is disposed of.

Needless to say that the petitioner would be at liberty to avail remedies in accordance with law for redressal of surviving grievances, if any.
