JUSTICE GURVINDER SINGH GILL Present:- Mr. Ashok Kumar Khunger, Advocate for the petitioner. ***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J.(Oral) The petitioner has approached this Court seeking transfer of the application under Section 125 Cr.P.C. filed by the respondents from the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Gidderbaha to any other competent Court in the State of Punjab.

The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that whenever the petitioner goes to Gidderbaha to attend to the proceedings of the case, he is threatened by the respondent-wife and her brothers and, as such, he apprehends serious threat to his life and liberty. Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court does not find any valid ground for transfer of the petition from Gidderbaha to any other Court. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to move an application to Senior Superintendent of Police, Sri Muktsar Sahib as regards his apprehension of any threat to his life and liberty.
