The petitioner through instant petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India is seeking setting aside of order dated 28.04.2023 (Annexure P-7) whereby he has been awarded punishment of forfeiture of one increment. In alternative, he is seeking direction to respondent No. 2 to decide his appeal in a time bound manner.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that grievance of the petitioner, at this stage, would be redressed if the respondent No. 2 is directed to decide his representation in a time bound manner. 3.
