Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to give the benefit of promotion and pay fixation from the date, his junior was promoted.

Learned State counsel refers to paras 5 to 7 of the short reply dated 05.12.2024 filed by way of Block Development and Panchayat Officer, Mamdot, District Ferozepur that due to adverse remarks in the service book of the petitioner, he was not promoted in the year, 2016, however, during pendency of the present petition, he stands promoted vide order dated 31.01.2024 and has been released the benefit of CPF on 25.04.2024 & 05.09.2024 and leave encashment on 25.10.2024.
