SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to complete the investigation of FIR No.106 dated 02.10.2024 under Section 420 IPC registered at P.S Bhikhiwind, District Tarn Taran and submit a report under Section 197 of BNSS before the competent court of law and take appropriate necessary action against respondent No.4.

Notice of motion.

Mr. J.S. Rattu, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondentState and assures the Court that he has already conveyed respondent No.2-SSP, Tarn Taran to expedite the investigation in the abovesaid FIR which otherwise involves a sum of Rs.3,50,000/- as the same is pending investigation since October, 2024.

In the wake of assurance given by learned State counsel, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2-SSP, Tarn Taran that he shall proceed in the matter expeditiously and take the matter to its logical conclusion.
