Dated Police Station Sections 17.08.2017 VBFS-I, Punjab at SAS Nagar (Mohali) 7 of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 as amended by PC (Amendment) Act 2018 CRM-38373-2023 Allowed, as prayed for. Documents at Annexure P-6, are taken on record. Main case Seeking permission to travel abroad on the occasion of first birthday of his grand daughter, the petitioner has come up before this Court under Section 482 CrPC, due to the reason that the above captioned FIR is pending against him. 2.

The applicant wants to attend first birthday of his grand daughter which is a precious moment for a grand father and it would be inhuman for him in case, this Court does not permit him to attend the birthday. 3.

Counsel for the State submits that if this Court inclined to grant permission to the petitioner to go abroad, then the same must be subject to some stringent conditions.

Given above, the petition is allowed subject to the following conditions:- (i) The petitioner shall share the addresses where he would stay in Canada and e-mail ID. Further, the petitioner will activate international roaming pack (valid till the date of his return) on phone number on which he would use whatsapp.

(ii) The petitioner shall keep the GPS location ON of his phone and shall also share IMEI number of the phone. The petitioner shall share ANJU RANI 2023.09.14 12:29 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

(iii) The petitioner shall return from Canada on or before 31.12.2023. It is clarified that in case the petitioner violates any of the conditions, then it may construed against him while granting similar permissions to visit Canada or other countries and it shall be permissible for the State to file application for cancellation of passport.
