SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) The jurisdiction of this Court has been invoked under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023 for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.1 to 3 to ensure fair investigation in case FIR No.209 dated 14.11.2024 under Sections 420,120-B IPC and Section 24 of Immigration Act registered at P.S Division No.5, Police Commissionerate Ludhiana, District Ludhiana.

Mr. J.S. Rattu, DAG, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of respondentState and assures the Court that while conducting investigation, representation dated 19.04.2025 submitted by the petitioner shall also be looked into. In the wake of assurance given by learned State counsel, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the petition. Prayer is accepted.
