-.- KARAMJIT SINGH , J. (Oral) Prayer is for grant of anticipatory bail in case having FIR No.88 dated 4.8.2020 registered under Section 379 IPC at Police Station Patara District Jalandhar (Rrural).

Counsel for the petitioner submitted that FIR was registered against some unknown persons who allegedly committed theft of oil from one transformer in the area of village Jandu Singha. The counsel for the petitioner further submits that petitioner has joined investigation with the police in the light of previous order dated 29.4.2022 passed by the Coordinate Bench of this Court.

( 2 ) CRM-M-50846-2021 State counsel on instructions from ASI Maninder Singh has submitted that the petitioner has complied with the previous order dated 29.4.2022 and further submits that the petitioner is not required by police for further investigation or for custodial interrogation. The State counsel further apprised the Court that offence under Section 201 IPC has been added in the present case.

The counsel for the petitioner made oral request to add Section 201 IPC in the present case.

Needful be done by the Registry of this Court. In view of the above as the petitioner has already associated himself in the investigation of the case and is not required by the police for further investigation. The present petition is allowed without commenting on the merits of the case and interim order dated 29.4.2022 is hereby made absolute. The petitioner should abide by the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C.
