By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India inter alia for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 17.10.2023, Annexure P-5, passed by the SubDivisional Magistrate-cum-Collector, Faridabad, whereby, petitioners have been fastened with a stamp duty and fee, etc. of Rs.5,99,799/-. 2.

At the outset, counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have challenged the impugned order by filing a statutory appeal bearing No.60 of 2023, which is pending for adjudication before the Divisional Commissioner, Faridabad.

As the petitioners have availed the alternate remedy available under the statute, petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioners to take all pleas before the Appellate Authority.
