CWP No.26874 of 2019 Learned counsel for the petitioner inter alia contends that petitioner in pursuance to the advertisement while applying for the post of Clerk has submitted certificate of BCB category but inadvertently, mentioned BCA category and realizing the said mistake immediately, submitted a representation dated 06.09.2019 (Annexure P-7) in this regard before the date of examination which was to be held on 22.09.2019. Accordingly, she was issued roll number (Annexure P-8) placed on record with civil miscellaneous application, ibid.

Keeping in view predicament of the petitioner particularly when she had already submitted the correct certificate but inadvertently mentioned wrong category i.e. BCA instead of BCB category and allowed to sit in examination, I deem it appropriate to dispose of writ petition with a direction to the respondents to consider the candidature of petitioner in view of the request/representation dated 06.09.2019 (Annexure P-7) and decide the same before declaration of the result and in case of any clarification, respondents are at liberty to call the petitioner in person. Writ petition stands disposed of.
