The petitioner seeks issuance of a direction for extension of emergency parole granted to the petitioner vide order dated 28.9.2022 (Annexure P-7) by four weeks on the ground that petitioner's mother is still admitted in the hospital.

On asking of the Court, Mr. Rajiv Sidhu, DAG, Haryana, upon whom an advance copy of petition had been served, accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had been granted parole for a period of two weeks, which is to expire on 12.10.2022 and that although he had moved an application i.e. application dated PANKAJ KAKKAR 2022.10.10 18:10 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

( 2 ) CRWP-9685-2022 (O&M) 4.10.2022 (Annexure P-8) to the authorities concerned for extension of parole by another 4 weeks but the same has not ben decided till date. 5.

Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and also the learned State counsel, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the authorities concerned to dispose of the application dated 4.10.2022 (Annexure P-8) expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from today. 6.

Meanwhile, the parole as granted to the petitioner vide order dated 28.9.2022 (Annexure P-7) is extended till the disposal of the application dated 4.10.2022 (Annexure P-8), subject to a maximum period of two weeks. 7.
