On asking of this Court, Mr. Kewal Singh, Addl. A.G. Punjab accepts notice on behalf of State/respondent Nos.1 to 3. 5.
Ms. Kulwinder Bhargav, Advocate has filed power of attorney on behalf of respondent Nos.4 and 5, who are parents of petitioner No.1. 6.
Considering nature of litigation, no purpose would be served by serving notice to remaining respondents.

Today both petitioners, respondent No.4 - Manjit Singh father of petitioner No.1 and his sister Kulwant Kaur are present in the Court. Father of petitioner No.1 wanted to talk to his daughter. Despite counseling by the Court, petitioner No.1 refused to talk to his father. On this respondent No.4 present in the Court categorically stated that neither he nor respondent Nos.5 to 7 will have any connection with petitioner No.1 nor they will interfere in their life.

Under the aforesaid facts and circumstances, at present petitioners have no threat or apprehension from the hands of respondent Nos.4 to 7 and the petition filed by petitioners has rendered infructuous. 9.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in case petitioners have any apprehension of threat to their life and liberty they can still approach respondent Nos.2 and 3 seeking protection, who will take appropriate steps considering threat perception.
