Sh. Gaurav Garg Dhuriwala, Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab, has put in appearance on behalf of the State and accepts notice. It is the contention of the petitioner that the petitioner has made a representation dt. 23.06.2021, Annexure P-8, to the respondents to cancel the mining lease granted to respondent No.6 on 31.01.2020 with respect to the land of the petitioner since the said respondent is not removing the sand from the petitioner's agricultural land.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that though the said representation has been given about six months back but no action is being taken thereon by the respondents.
