(Oral) The present petition has been filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondent - Department to promote the petitioners on the post of Water Pump Operator Grade I from the date of completing their probation period of two years retrospectively along with all consequential service benefits.

After arguing the case for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner wishes to withdraw the present petition with liberty to file afresh one, on the same cause of action, with better particulars by attaching the seniority list of the post of Water Pump Operator, Grade I.
