Present petition has been filed praying for quashing of FIR No.120, dated 24.09.2024, under Sections 406 & 420 IPC, registered at Police Station Division No.4 (Lahori Gate), District Patiala along with all subsequent proceedings arising therefrom on the basis of compromise dated 12.06.2025 (Annexure P-2).

Learned counsel for the State submits that cancellation report has been prepared in this case, however, the same is yet to be presented before the concerned Illaqa Magistrate.

In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to avail his remedy in accordance with law and he can approach this Court again, in case, any cause of action survives. 4.
