MANJARI NEHRU KAUL, J. (ORAL) Petitioner is seeking issuance of directions to respondent No.2 to protect his life and liberty at the hands of private respondents.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the private respondents are pressuring the petitioner to withdraw the complaint made by him on 24.07.2024 (Annexure P-1) against them or else, face dire consequences. Learned counsel submits that a representation dated 06.08.2024 (Annexure P-2) has also been given to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, however, in vain.

Learned counsel for the petitioner restricts his prayer for issuance of directions to respondent No.2-Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, to look into the representation dated 06.08.2024 (Annexure P-2) of the petitioner and take appropriate steps in accordance with law.
