Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that in pursuance to the Letter dated 28.07.2025, the notice dated 13.06.2025, issued to the petitioner under Section 142(1) of the Act, 1961 and the subsequent reminder dated 02.07.2025 have been withdrawn and in compliance to the directions of this Court, the re-assessment proceedings in this case for the A.Y. 2018-09, have been dropped, as such, the instant petition has been rendered infructuous. Copy of the said letter has been submitted in the Court today, which is taken on record.
