Prayer made in the present petition is for directing the respondents to release full pay and allowances to the petitioner on account of his acquittal in a criminal case with regard to which reliance is placed on the judgment of this Court passed in Maha Singh vs. State of Haryana and another, RSJ 1994(1) Page 251. In this regard, a representation dated 25.04.2022, Annexure P-7, has been submitted however the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, at this stage, on instructions, from the petitioner, prays that a direction is given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner.

At the asking of the Court, Mr. Harish Nain, AAG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State and has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 25.04.2022, Annexure P-7 expeditiously, in accordance with law.
