The present petition has been filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondents No.3 to 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that for redressal of his grievance, the petitioner has submitted representation dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) before respondent No.2, however, no action has been taken thereon till date.

After hearing learned counsel for the parties, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the representation dated 10.03.2025 (Annexure P-3) qua the threat perception filed by the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible and to grant immediate protection, if any threat to the life and liberty to the petitioner, is perceived. It is being clarified that this order shall not be taken to grant immunity to the petitioners for legal action for violation of law, if any, committed by him.
