***** GURVINDER SINGH GILL, J . (Oral) Today, at the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he restricts his prayer for consideration of his representation dated 8.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) to the limited extent of protecting the life and liberty of the petitioners.

In view of the aforesaid submission and without commenting anything as regards the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of with a direction to the Commissioner of Police, Amritsar (respondent No.2) to look into the matter and to dispose of representation dated 8.11.2021 (Annexure P-1) as regards the apprehension of the petitioners regarding threat to their life and liberty, in accordance with law.
