*** The grouse of petitioner Vikas Chauhan is that he had applied for the post of Assistant Professor/Equivalent Entomolgy advertised by respondent No. 2 Maharana Pratap Horticultural University, Karnal. Though he was suitable for appointment but one Gaurav Singh arrayed as respondent No. 4, who had neither appeared before the selection committee nor he was in India on the scheduled day of interview, has been given appointment which is a clear case of favouritism and nepotism. According to him, he has submitted a detailed representation in that regard dated 24.11.2021 (Annexure P-5) addressed to Registrar of the University in question but that has not evoked any response, as such he has knocked at the door of this Court by way of filing the present writ petition.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, in order to avoid unnecessary litigation, the writ petition is disposed of directing respondent No. 2 and 3 to consider the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law, rules, regulations and instructions on the PARVINDER SINGH 2021.12.

CWP No. 24743 of 2021 subject within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of the order and if some action in the matter is warranted then the needful be done in accordance with law. A speaking order in that regard be passed, which be conveyed to the petitioner through Registered A.D. Post. If the petitioner feels dissatisfied after passing of the order then he may approach the Court again in accordance with law.
