Grewal, J.(Oral) The present petition has been filed under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (for short-'BNSS') for quashing of FIR No.0172 dated 15.07.2021 under Sections 147,149,323,341,506 IPC registered at Police Station Bhondsi, District Gurugram and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise deed dated 03.06.2025 (Annexure P-2).

Mr. Parveen Kumar Aggarwal, Addl. AG, Haryana accepts notice on behalf of the respondent-State.

Learned State counsel states that no other FIR has been registered against the petitioners and they have no criminal antecedents.

Mr. G.S.Gurna, Advocate appears and filed his Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No.2 in the Court today and the same is taken on record. He confirms the factum of the compromise having been effected between the Renu Rawat 2025.07.25 14.54 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRM-M-39432-2025 -2parties and states that respondent No. 2 has no objection to the quashing of the FIR in question.

In that view of the matter, even if this case is taken to its logical conclusion, it would only be an exercise in futility as the parties have already settled their differences. Therefore, no purpose would be served in wasting the time and resources of the State in pursuing this case to its pre-ordained end. It would, therefore, be better to give a quietus to the issue at this stage. 6.

Accordingly, the petition is allowed and FIR No.0172 dated 15.07.2021 under Sections 147, 149, 323, 341, 506 IPC registered at Police Station Bhondsi, District Gurugram and all the subsequent proceedings arising therefrom, on the basis of compromise deed dated 03.06.2025 (Annexure P-2) shall stand quashed qua the petitioners subject to payment of Rs.5,000/- as costs to be paid to the High Court Legal Services Committee. 7.
