**** RAJ MOHAN SINGH, J. (Oral) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition for the issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent No.2 to grant regular timings to the petitioner in order to operate her route permit which was issued on 19.05.2022.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was issued a route permit in respect of a route from Mansa to Bathinda via Mussa, Talwandi and Kotshamir route. Due to non-finalization of regular timings, the petitioner is not in a position to operate her vehicle on the route so granted to the petitioner.

CWP No. 23446 of 2022 -2Precisely, for the grievance in question, the legal notice of the petitioner dated 16.09.2022 is still pending before the respondent No.2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied in case her legal notice dated 16.09.2022 is directed to be decided by the competent authority/ respondent No.2 by passing a speaking order in accordance with law at the earliest.

On the asking of the Court, Mr. R.S. Pandher, Sr. D.A.G., Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. In view of nature of prayer made by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to take note of pending legal notice got issued by the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, preferably within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
