NAMIT KUMAR J. (Oral) The petitioner prays for grant of anticipatory bail in FIR No.148 dated 26.07.2024, registered under Sections 10 and 21 of the POCSO Act, at Police Station Sadar Rewari, District Rewari. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that, in pursuance to the order dated 02.09.2024 passed by this Court, the petitioner has appeared before the Investigating Officer and has joined the investigation.

Learned State counsel has filed status report by way of an affidavit of Jogender Sharma, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Rewari today in the Court, which is taken on record and he, on instructions from ASI Neetu, Police Station Sadar Rewari, has not disputed the aforesaid fact and submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation and is no more required for further investigation. CRM-M No.42931 of 2024 In view of the above, this petition is allowed and the interim relief granted to the petitioner vide order dated 02.09.2024 is made absolute subject to the conditions envisaged under Section 438(2) Cr.P.C. (now 482(2) of BNSS, 2023).
