*** SUVIR SEHGAL , J. (ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to conduct fair and unbiased investigation in case bearing FIR No.35 dated 21.10.2021 lodged for offence under Sections 341, 354-A, 354-B and 506 IPC at Women Police Station Mewat, District Nuh (Anexure P-1) and has sought further direction to the official respondents to protect her life and liberty as well as that of her family from the hands of accused. Counsel for the petitioner submits that due to an unsavory incident which took place on 7.10.2021, the petitioner lodged the FIR (Annexure P-1), however, the official respondents are not investigating into the allegations levelled in the FIR, rather some of the co-villagers, who have been impleaded as private respondents No.6 and 7 have been threatening the petitioner to withdraw the case and are forcing her to enter into a GEETA RANI 2021.12.14 14:42 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

Counsel submits that the petitioner apprehends a threat to her and her family's safety and she has submitted a representation dated 30.10.2021 (Annexure P-2) to the Superintendent of Police, District Nuh, which is not being attended to. Counsel submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is issued to the concerned official respondent to look into the same.

Request of the counsel has been considered.

Without examining the allegations levelled in the petition or in the representation (Annexure P-2), petition is disposed of with a direction to Superintendent of Police, Nuh-respondent No.3 to examine the representation (Anneure P-2) and take suitable action thereon as warranted in accordance with law.
