Through the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 a prayer is made for issuance of directions upon respondent No. 1-Bank to send the Sale Certificate dated 14.10.2020 to respondent No. 2, making entries in the Book No. 1, as per Section 89(4) of the Registration Act, in view of the law laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case titled as 'M/s Esjaypee Impex Private Limited Versus Assistant General Manager and Authorized Officer Canara Bank' 2021(11)-SCC-537.

Upon notice, counsel for respondent No. 1-Bank has caused appearance today in Court, and informs this Court that they have on an earlier occasion, has wrongly sent the Sale Certificate to the Sub-Registrar, PARVINDER SINGH 2025.05.19 09:16 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this order/judgment

CWP No. 20108 of 2023 Sangrur, whereas, they were required to send it to the Sub-Registrar, Barnala. He further submits that the Bank, within 15 days from today will transmit the Sale Certificate to the Sub-Registrar, Barnala, for the latter to take final decision in accordance with the Registration Act. 3.

In view of the specific stand taken by respondent No.1, the instant petition is closed, with a mandamus upon respondent No. 1 to send the Sale Certificate dated 14.10.2020 to respondent No. 2 i.e. Sub-Registrar, Barnala within 15 days from passing of this order. Furthermore respondent No. 2, within 15 days thereafter, take a final decision on the same, in accordance with the Registration Act.

Disposed of, with aforesaid directions.
