The present petition is for grant of protection to the life and liberty of the petitioners from the hands of private respondents. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are being threatened by respondent No.9, who is Mama of petitioner No.1girl who is also present in Court. He further submits that petitioners are being given threats outside the Court premises. 3.

Issue notice of motion.

Mr. Kamalpreet Bawa, AAG, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 to 3.

Mr. Amit Sharma, Advocate, has put in appearance on behalf of respondent Nos.4 and 5 and filed his vakalantnama, which is taken on record.

At this stage, it has transpired that all the private parties are present in Court and, therefore, they are relegated to the Mediation & Conciliation Centre of this Court at 12.30 p.m. to work out an amicable solution.

In compliance of order passed before noon, the parties appeared before the Mediator and have resolved their disputes by executing an amicable settlement/arrangement which is attached with the report received from the learned Mediator and the copy of the same is taken on record and be made a part of this proceeding. 8.

Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that at this stage there is no threat perception.

Accordingly, the present petition is disposed of in terms of the agreement/settlement between the parties.

The petitioners are at liberty to approach the competent authority, in case, any threat perception arises and the competent Authority shall look into the same, in accordance with law. 11.

With the abovesaid terms, the present petition stands disposed of.
