Present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of charge-sheet dated 02.08.2024 (P-6); for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to keep the departmental proceedings in abeyance till the decision of learned trial Court in case FIR No.10 dated 23.03.2024, registered under Section 384 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and Section 13(1)(b) & 7 of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988, at Police Station Anti-Corruption Bureau, Gurugram; also directing the respondents not to examine the common witness in the departmental inquiry as well as praying for staying the departmental proceedings initiated against the petitioner during the pendency of present writ petition. 2.

At the outset, learned counsel, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that present petition be disposed off as not pressed "at this stage". 3.
